1. Scope and Provider

2. Services Offered

Mind Stories is a digital publishing platform for adult short fiction (18+). Stories are accessible as free reads, one-off purchases, or via a monthly Premium subscription that unlocks the full catalog.

3. Registration and User Account

A free account is required for commenting, submitting stories, favoriting, and most paid features. You must be at least 18 years old to register. Account credentials must be kept confidential; any activity under the account is your responsibility.

4. Prices and Payment

Prices for single-story purchases and subscriptions are displayed before checkout. Payment is processed by Stripe; we do not store card details. Subscriptions renew monthly until cancelled.

5. Right of Withdrawal (Widerrufsrecht)

As a consumer in the European Union you generally have a 14-day right of withdrawal for digital purchases. For digital content delivered immediately, this right expires when delivery begins, provided you have given explicit consent to the start of delivery and acknowledged that you lose your right of withdrawal upon starting. Mind Stories asks for this consent during checkout — ticking the consent box constitutes the acknowledgement required under § 356 (5) BGB.

6. Cancellation

Subscriptions can be cancelled at any time via your account settings, the Stripe customer portal, or the public cancellation form at mind-stories.com/kuendigen (§ 312k BGB). Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid period; no refunds for the running period.

7. User-Generated Content

By submitting a story you confirm you are the author and hold all required rights, including any rights of third parties named or described. You grant Mind Stories a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to display, distribute, and translate your submission as part of the platform. You retain copyright. Comments must follow basic civility and the topic guidelines.
